Everyone says they know how to get around a roundabout and nobody admits matrices, but the truth is that the vast majority of accidents that occur in roundabouts are due to incorrect maneuvers.
All these problems can end thanks to an invention that comes from Holland: the turbo-roundabouts. It is a roundabout whose lanes are delimited and “guide” the vehicles to a different exit.
The first turbo-roundabout in Spain was installed in 2009 in the Asturian municipality of Grado and was in the hands of Vectio, a pioneer in this sector. The balance has been absolutely positive: only two claims in six years.
