Carlos Suárez, CEO of Vectio, in Asturias Semanal (TPA)

On November 29th, 2023, the Pajares Bypass began its commercial operation, with which the High Speed Railway finally reached Asturias after more than two decades of works and delays. During this first year of operation, passenger rail transport between the Meseta and Asturias has undergone a significant increase and today it is very difficult to get a ticket on trains with destination Madrid and departure from Oviedo, Gijón or Avilés, despite a 50% increase in capacity. The news program of the regional television Asturias Semanal made a special program taking stock of this first anniversary, with the collaboration of the CEO of Vectio Traffic and transport planning, Carlos Suarez in his capacity as an expert in transport and mobility.
