From Vectio we congratulate the Loma Cová Consortium (Acciona-Meco) that has been awarded with the Expansion and Rehabilitation of the Pan-American Highway, Section: Puente de las Américas – Arraiján, province of Panamá Oeste. Among the bidding companies, Acciona presented the best technical offer, betting on a high-quality design backed by the company’s extensive experience in the civil engineering sector.
Vectio’s work has consisted in helping the consortium in conducting a traffic study identifying traffic flows, obtaining trajectories and volume of vehicles for the design of the expansion of the Pan-American Highway in the section between the Bridge of the Americas and the connection with the centenary road in Arraiján. As well as the modelling of the network and future traffic forecast for the 2016-2036 scenario.
