On March 21, Vectio Traffic Engineering celebrated its first 18 years of life with an intense day of socializing in Madrid, the company’s headquarters. Vectio’s entire staff, from its three global headquarters, met first at the Westin Cuzco hotel where the CEO and founder of the company, Carlos Suárez, congratulated the team for its performance over the last 12 months, which has served to maintain Vectio as one of the most reputable traffic engineering companies in the Latin American market. The rest of the department heads also presented their annual reports, which showed an increase in sales and major projects in several Latin American countries. The event also served to receive a shiatsu master class from the prestigious Japanese Shiatsu School and to join the #TrafficNerdsAssemble initiative promoted by Adam Hill, editor of ITS International. After the 18th anniversary celebration lunch, the Vectio team went to the Canal Foundation for a guided tour of the very interesting exhibition of Andy Warhol posters. Because, although one day is a short time to celebrate 18 years of life, at Vectio we believe that in life and work there must always be time for continuous learning, whether it is about technical, healthy or artistic aspects.
