Vectio sponsors the National Congress of Enterprise Areas CENAES 2024

On November 7 and 8, the National Congress of Business Areas CENAES 2024 will be held in Oviedo, organized for this occasion by Asemposil (Association of Businessmen of the Silvota Industrial Estate) and the Federation of Business Areas of Asturias with the support of the Spanish Confederation of Industrial Areas and the Government of the Principality of Asturias. Vectio will be one of the sponsors of an event that will bring together businessmen from all over Spain at the Hotel de La Reconquista and the Port of Avilés to discuss relevant issues such as promoting a legal framework aimed at the revitalization of business areas, addressing different management alternatives, as well as analyzing the role of the administrations in the development and consolidation of these fundamental business areas in our economic fabric.

The Spanish Confederation of Industrial Areas (CEDAES) is an organization that represents and coordinates more than 6,000 industrial areas throughout Spain. CEDAES works in the management and revitalization of industrial areas. Its main objectives are:

  • The defense of the interests of industrial areas and their institutional representation before public administrations and private entities.
  • Advice on the creation, management and revitalization of these areas of economic activity (AAE).
  • Promotion and implementation of a legislative framework for these areas of business interest.

All this focused, mainly, to generate synergies that allow sharing knowledge, experiences, success stories and new strategies to face the present difficulties and future challenges common to all industrial areas. CEDAES also facilitates communication, coordination and cooperation between its members and public administrations. It promotes investment in these areas of strategic activity, working to enhance both their business and economic attractiveness, as well as the sustainability in the management of these areas of productive activity, where more than 50% of the national GDP is generated.
