Vectio UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Harry Karandeinos as our new Technical Director

Harry will operate from Vectio’s Birmingham and London offices, and become our discipline leader for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). As a Transport Planner/Traffic Engineer and certified Project Manager with over 20 years of experience, Harry brings a wealth of experience in the planning, design and implementation of ITS to a number of subsectors within transport and mobility, including Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAVs), public transport, tolled highways systems and operations, and traffic management.

Harry started his professional career in Greece where he was based until 2016 prior to moving to the United Kingdom. In increasingly senior roles in his previous firms, Harry has successfully lead multi-disciplinary projects as project manager and ITS expert, in the UK, the EU-27, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East for both public and private sector clients including the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, Highways England, Dubai Roads and Transport Authority and the Qatari Ministry of Transport & Communications.

Harry has also been actively involved with the Institute of Transportation Engineers (HIT) in Greece, and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and the Association for Project Management (APM) in UK.
