Vectio’s client wants to analyse traffic volumes and mobility patterns of clients and workers at his existing wholesale centre in Getafe (Madrid). Particularly, this study aims to focus on traffic flows hourly distribution, making the difference between clients and employees as their mobility pattern and journey purpose are different. To identify mobility patterns and traffic flows a traffic survey campaign was designed to gather all the information needed.
Thus, the purpose of this study is to provide teh client with a traffic and mobility assessment that globally analyses the traffic attracted by the members warehouse and the petrol fueling station. The diagnosis will be carried out for the whole commercial area, but also distinguishing between employees and clients. The data will be gathered using artificial vision technology and pneumatic equipment.
