The client seeks to analyse the suitability (from an accessibility point of view) for a new development in a logistics area in Madrid, located on a plot of land next to the high-capacity M-40 Madrid orbital motorway. Prior to making a decision, it is necessary to analyse mobility with assessments that look into access to the chosen location using different means of transport, with special emphasis on vehicle traffic.
Thus, the purpose of this study is to provide the client with a traffic and mobility assessment that shows the traffic flow in the affected road section and its accesses as is, as well as to analyse the road infrastructure in nearby areas, estimate the traffic levels the planned logistics facilities will generate, analysing accessibility to the facilities and detecting any likely bottlenecks so that the client can perfectly understand the characteristics of the access to the plot under study.
