One of the main challenges facing a company today is the optimization of available resources to maximize profitability in the P&L.
Our client, a company with a long history in the iron and steel sector, currently part of an important international group with presence in Europe and Canada, was planning a reorganization for its plant in Seville, in order to develop a new production line in a space that was previously used for loading.
For this purpose, Vectio performed a mobility Due Diligence, a technical analysis that examines the interior circulations, the design of the loading and unloading docks and the distribution of the parking lot, detecting the conflictive points of the interior circulations, diagnosing and guiding, if necessary, the improvement actions.

First of all, a complete data collection was carried out to know and analyze the initial operation of the factory and the transport flows. From there, Vectio’s multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects and technicians carried out the relevant analyses and simulations and proposed the necessary improvements to reorganize internal mobility, streamlining the factory and allowing the implementation of the new line without affecting internal traffic.
A good example of how important it is for companies to have a mobility study. A limited investment that nevertheless has a high impact on annual profitability.
