This traffic and mobility study consisted of a technical analysis that examined the accessibility of the access road to the factory and the different sectors that form it, diagnosed the capacity of the interior roads, detected points of conflict in circulation and proposed actions to improve operation.
The basic axis of the study was the collection and obtaining of current mobility data of the area already known (capacity, turning matrixes, availability of transport and characteristics of the transport infrastructures), the analysis and diagnosis of the existing mobility and its variation due to the changes that will be developed outside the study area (inside and outside the factory) and finally, the proposal of recommendations in order to obtain an optimal and fluid mobility.
The first part was the previous traffic study, with the collection of information owned by the factory on access and weighting, the collection of mobility data in the study environment and, on the other hand, using geo-referenced film equipment, the routes from the different origins that have the greatest influence on the plot of land under study were carried out. In a second part, based on the data captured at the first point analysed, using simulation techniques, a traffic model of the current situation and its planned future modifications was drawn up.
