ATC survey campaign for the project, layout and construction of the A-82 Motorway connecting San Cibrao and Barreiros. Section: Foz – Barreiros

Infrastructure & Engineering

Vectio has provided the company Ineco with exhaustive data on the traffic that circulates through different designated junctions on the N-634 and N-642 roads.

The measurements were made using traffic counts, both using pneumatic technology to obtain traffic volume data (AADT) and artificial vision cameras to obtain matrices in junctions (roundabout or regulated crossing), in five points located in the vicinity of Foz (Lugo) in a simultaneous series, meaning that all measurements were made during the same time slot.

This data collection allowed us to accurately define the vehicle flows of these points, segregating them by hourly intensities and by type of vehicles, making the distinction between four different types of vehicles.
