ATC survey and turn matrices in the vicinity of the new bus station in Donostia (San Sebastián)

Infrastructure & Engineering

The company Consultrans needed statistical data of the traffic circulating at several designated points in the vicinity of the new bus station in Donostia.

These points being studied were three junction junctions, regulated by traffic lights. For the measurements, we used several temporary traffic counts with artificial vision camera with route recognition capacity in different strategic points simultaneously, the videos were later processed with pixel processing software.

Moreover, the traffic light phases were calculated according to the new arrangement and flows of the junctions in order to establish a traffic model that represents the current trend of the area.
