ATC survey campaign in the service lanes of the of the (A-4) La Mancha Motorway

PPPs & Concessions

U.T.E. Autopista de la Mancha commissioned Vectio to conduct a transport assessment with the aim of finding out the average daily traffic intensity (AADT) along all the service roads of the A-4 motorway in the stretch from the kilometre 138 point (Puerto Lápice) to the kilometre 245 point (Venta de Cárdenas), passing through major towns such as Manzanares, Valdepeñas, Santa Cruz de Mudela or Almuradiel.

To do this, six ATC surveys were conducted, using both radar and pneumatic technology, during one week. As well as finding out the average daily intensity of vehicles, the traffic count allowed us to classify the vehicles that travel along these roads.
