ALSA, a company belonging to Mobico Group and leader in passenger transport in Spain, with an important presence in Portugal, Morocco, Switzerland, France and Saudi Arabia and a total of 589 million passengers in 2023, has entrusted Vectio to develop mobility models for its first R&D center.
To carry out the project, the variables that condition mobility in different territories were studied, such as travel needs for work, studies, leisure, medical visits or any other point of interest such as airports, beaches or ski resorts. Once all the data has been analyzed and put into context, the results are delivered to ALSA for a better adaptation of its urban, interurban and long-distance transport lines to the mobility needs of users.
