At the request of the company IngenierÃa y EconomÃa del Transporte (INECO) Vectio conducted an assessment on the supply and demand for public and private transport in the vicinity of the Andalusia Technology Park (PTA) in Malaga.
In order to estimate the potential demand and prognosis of the potential extension of the CercanÃas Málaga network and its impact among PTA users, mobility surveys and ATC surveys were conducted for public and private transport users in the said area, as well as in the towns of Maqueda and Campanillas.
Additionally, route videos with on-board geo-referenced camera were made at the peak entry and exit times of the Andalusia Technological Park (PTA) with the aim of being able to observe the retentions produced in the main access roads so as to have a more defined overview of the existing situation.
